Hi Theresa!!! Just wanted to leave you a post hun to let you know I'm thinking about you. I'm hoping that this post is finding you well and not getting to nervous. Know that I will be with you, if not in body, in spirit when you go in for your surgery. I will be here praying for you and that God will guide your surgeon's hands. I also will pray for a speedy and painless recovery for you. You will also have all of your friends at AMOS praying for your safety. Keep your chin up and if you have any fears or doubts talk to someone, and they will help you thru it. You can call me anytime you want and I'll be here to cheer you on and cheer you up!!!!!!!! Thanks to each of you for your posts. I am still kinda new to the site, but catching on quickly. I need all prayers, and wishes I can get. Not just for my surgery on July 8, 2004, but for alot of stress at home, with the kids. Its alot. And your right, soooo many emotions, but I am blessed. I'll keep in touch, and again, thanks, and God Bless each of you, your reward will be great!

Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. It’s great to see the new you emerge!!! Not to mention the look on YOUR face when you look at those pictures and compare them in a few months! It’ll be a BIG WOW!!! Please remember too, that this is a *tool* to use. Make sure you use it wisely. The first year it’s pretty easy, after that I’ve been hearing (I’m not speaking from experience as I’m not a year out yet) that it gets increasingly difficult. Hi Theresa! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! There’s really nothing you can do with the all those feelings surfacing. You may start to doubt yourself and question your decision to have surgery. Just about everyone has had this happen to them. You’re making a decision to have a better quality of life and YOU deserve it!! That gut feeling or that little voice inside lets you know that you’re doing the right thing! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re here to give you our support, lend an ear and not judge. There are lots of us who have had surgery and are in your corner rooting for you!! I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a successful, problem-free surgery and recovery. I’m so happy for you.
