"Dr Nik Agarwal was really wonderful. He was very up front about the procedure.. what it can and cannot do, the risks, including death, and how it will be a complete lifestyle change FOREVER.
His office staff is great, his wife, Millie, is a wonderful person and you couldn't ask for better care, compassion and support. They have their own small gastric bypass support group and it is very loving and personal.
He did the RNY laproscopically and he called in Dr. Monk (also in York) to supervise and help. Dr. Monk was listed as the attending. I saw both pre-op, after the operation and will follow up with both for a short time... 2 docs.. how could my care be any better??
Both doctors are very nice people, they know what they are doing and bedside manner is terrific. I was in York Hospital (on S.George St.) and the care there was also terrific. I recommend the docs and hospital to anyone who is seeking surgery. They had to go back in after I was done initially and retrieve a piece of tubing, but it was done smoothly and didn't interfere with my recovery in the least. I also like the fact that they told my husband what happened and fixed it, no worries, no excuses. I think that says a lot about the character and integrity of both doctors. I highly recommend them both! Thank-you. Jacki K
