"My first impression of Dr. Naik was please don't let him be my surgeon. I was seeing him for breast cancer and he looked too young to be operating. After talking with him and asking every RN I knew in town I truely believe our paths were crossed for a reason. He is gentle, kind, and compassionate. He truely cares for his patient's well being.
A year later when I decided to have LAP Band surgery there wasn't any question as to who I would have perform this procedure. He explained in great detail the postive and negative aspects regarding LAP Band. He was infatic about following a pre-op regime that included exercise and weight lose.
Since my surgery I have also experienced great post-op care. He didn't operate then release me to fend for myself. He has been there every step of the way. Dr. Naik doesn't scold when I have slipped a little in my post recovery, but he does explain why it is important to follow the program and the consequences for not. Since he cares you know he is disappointed. He wants me to be successful in attaining my goals.
The staff at Bakersfield Surgical Center is also wonderful. They are able to answer any questions and if they don't know the answer they always call me back in a short time. Dr Naik is lucky to have these gracious people, especially Bella, who has held my hand and listened more than once.
In conclusion I can say that Dr. Naik and his staff are wonderful medical professionals and that I would not hesitate to have him perform any needed surgery."
