Well I went to the Doctor today for my 4 week post op visit, and things went pretty good.  I hope the Doc and I have figured out  what has been causing me to be sick.  We will see in about 3 days.  I just want to get past these next few months.  Things have been much harder than I thought.  I'm a lil down in the dumps, need a break, and I'm having thoughts of  if I did the right thing by getting the surgery or not.(In my heart I know I did, but it's just been that tough for me).  IDK. So on a better note I was able to add meat to my diet. Doc said I could have Hamburger, Tuna,etc. So tonight I had a piece of hamburger. OMG it was so good. MMMMMMMMM

Also Doc told me I have lost 22% of my weight.YAY!! so excited!

I went to see doctor Bolanowski on Monday and everything went well. My incisions are healing great.  I was even able to have eggs added to my diet. OMG I was so excited to eat something that I have hated for years.  I cooked an egg and only eat half... right?  Well guess what I found out??? I STILL HATE EGGS!!! I thought I was going to  after i eat it.

Anyway on to the good news... I obviously got weighed when I went and I have lost 30 pounds...OMG are you serious??? I am so excited... YAY 4 ME!!!  38 more pounds to go and I will be under 200!!!

Well tomorrow is my surgery... I am scared to death.  Am I overreacting??? I hope so...

OMG!!! I finally got my computer fixed...so much has happened since the last time i posted... Well first my date changed to the 26th of january.  I had my pre op on the 12th and have been on this crazy liquid diet ever since... I feel like im starving... even with the protein. which by the way taste horrible.  I'm going to have to find a premixed one that tast good cause the powders are NOT working for me.  So I am getting close to my date and I am terrified. I'm not having second thoughts about getting the surgery or anything i'm just real nervous.   It's probably because i have no support here.

I got my date on The 2nd.  it will be January 19, 2010.  Very excited!!! very nervous!!!

 Well lets see,

I went to Portsmouth Naval yesterday and met the doctor who will be performing my surgery.  First impressions were good. 

She was very informative which made me a little more comfortable about switching from the lap band to RNY.

Oh yeah forgot to mention..... Doctor said that the lap band would more than likely not work much for me.  I need to lose too

much weight.  So now I'm in the process of making my appointments so i can get this surgery before my husband deploys in

October.  

I weigh 269.9 as of yesterday..... ouch!!!! 

 So today is August 14th and it has been almost a month since I had the orientation for WLS.  I didn't realize I would get a call this soon.  I just got off the phone with the nurse at Portsmouth Naval and have my first appointment scheduled for September 3.  I am so excited.  I have knots in my stomach, and I haven't even done the scariest part yet.  LOL!!!
