hey honey, sorry you are having a rough time of it. i think we sometimes forget the hell we went thru with surgery because all we can remember is how great we feel now. hang in there, it will get better everyday. im so proud of you. come back to chat when you are able. hugs to you and to cindy also for taking such good care of our friend. snuggs

Hey Everyone! I'd like to ask for continued prayers for Jack. He's been having a rough couple of days. I'm hoping that today will be better. He's been in a lot of pain and has been having a lot of nausea. I believe that they took him off of the morphine because of the nausea. His bowels still haven't seem to have woken up, but hopefully today. I know he wants to go home. I'm going to try and talk to a family member today as he's so out of it, I'm really not quite sure what is up. Anyway, thank you for all your love and support.

Spoke to Jack twice today. He sounds WONDERFUL! He had a transfusion last night, so he was pretty out of it, but is feeling much better today. He was even up and walking around. Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes for Jack!

Just wanted to update you on Jack's surgery. It's 12 midnight in NY and 9pm in Cali. I just heard from Jack's mom. He is finally out of surgery after a late start! The surgery went well, but he's in a lot of pain, which is understandable. Jack had a revision to his DS which made the common channel longer so he can absorb more of what he's eating and he also had abdominalplasty. Please keep Jack in your prayers for a quick recovery... and now I'm going to go have a good cry and thank God for all the wonderful things in my life... Yep, Jack is at the top of that list! I love you hon!
