It's Friday before my Monday surgery. Feeling so many things, excited, happy, scared and a little overwhelmed.  Also feeling a little frustrated with my husband, who is trying to be supportive, but just doesn't get it. He can't seem to understand my mixed emotions, when all have dreamed about for 2 years is being able to have this operation. 
Being a nurse, I'm just used to caring for others so it is tough to "hand myself over" to someone else, for something this big, and potentially dangerous.
