2 month visit to surgeon!! :)

Yesterday I went to see my surgeon after 2 Months. He told me I was doing well. I was so glad to hear that. Since surgery I lost a total of 31lbs so that make it 54lbs altogether. It is coming off slowly but surely. My inches on the other hand seem to flying off. Went from a 26 to almost and 18. My feet also shrunk 2 sizes, go figure. I honestly think this was the best thing that I ever did. I am able to eat just about everything that I am allowed to eat with out getting sick. I have the weight in my chest when I am getting full. I think overall I am doing fantastic. Well I go back in August so will again update you all on how I am coming along.

My Surgery

On 4/20/2011 I had my gastric bypass surgery. Since then have been back to the doctors and lost 15lbs. I am so happy. I just started eating soft foods and everything is going well. I never had surgery before this, but I can say one thing this is so worth it. I am feeling better already and I am only post-op 2 weeks. Well I hope everything stays this way and nothing goes wrong but if something did. I will deal with that if the time comes.

My first visit with the surgeon...

It was November 11, 2010. I was kind of scared but more then anything pumped up to start my new journey. They told me everything that I need to do. My first PCP appt was the same day. I start my 800-1200 calorie diet that following Monday (11/15/10). I knew I could handle the 6 months. So far so good. Every month going to the PCP and then every 6 weeks to the surgeon. My next appointment with the surgeon is on 2/22/10. This day I also do my Psyh. exam. I know my insurance will cover this 100% that was already checked into, so it is getting closer and closer. I can't wait to start on my new journey it has been along time coming.. I will try to post everyday if something changes or when I go to the PCP or surgeon.
