Let’s see, I have not been good at posting, but I will try to play catch up, I had RNY 8/26/08, which makes me 5 months post op, 6 months on the 26^th of this month.  I started my journey weighing my highest which was 304, today I weigh in at 220 lbs, I have lost 84lbs thus far.   Surgery has been the best decision per my weight.   Since I left the hospital for surgery I have not taken a insulin shot at all, thank you Lord!  As of last Wed, I am not longer on Metformin, I am officially off every medication for my diabetes, I am no longer listed as Insulin dependent diabetic but type 2, controlled by diet and exercise, yahooooooo.  I feel great! I look great! And I still have a lot more work ahead of me.
