wow it has been a while since I have wrote a blog...
well I had surgery on Oct 21-2010 and I have felt totally normal a;most from day 1...I did and do have issues with protien drinks so I donlt get them in but I can get 50 to 75 grams of protien in a day so thats good....I am getting most vitamines in in a day unless I forget but when I remember I try to take them....water is easy..
I started with a weight of 305.2 lbs when I went to my orientation in April 2010 and today I weigh in at 231 lbs. I stll have lots to go but I am very happy sice surgery I have lost 25 lbs in 5 weeks..but in total with weightloss before surgery I am down about 75 lbs....I am feeling great but I am cold alot already....

...so my surgery date is getting close now, 3 weeks away (Oct.21-2010) unless I get in on a cancellation. I start my Opti tomorrow and I am looking forward to getting it over with...I did treats and I know I am ready....I go in to do my PATTS at Humber on Oct.7 and then I c Dr.Glazier on Oct.8...I am looking forward for this chapter to b over and my next chapter to begin....I look at all the b4 and after photos on site and I can't even grasp that in a years time one of those photos could b me... to everyone on this journey with me I hope u r all doing well..

so we r now into June 2010 and things r going pretty good..i have seen the nutrtionist and she wants to c me again in July and at first I was pissed of but Im ok with it now..I guess I am not as informed as they want me to b or something like that..who knows...I really wanted to have surgery in the summer but I think when it is cooler might b better incase I can't get in enough water afterwards I wont get dehydrated to fast...so now I am studying up on the surgery so I am properly informed and then I can make my appointment with the internist and Dr. Starr.....

well things are moving now...I had my onfo session on April 28-2010 and I met with Dr. Starr on May 4-2010...he was very nice...so now I go for my Gastric Bypass class on May 28-2010 and then on June 1-2010 I see the dietician...then I call and book my appointment for internist and Dr. Starr again....

well it seemed like I waited forever for something from Humber and now I have recieved another letter about a info session in June 2010 ...that is 2 letters for the info session....I have already confirmed my April one so I am going to it..kinda excited about it..

well I received a letter from Humber for me to attend a info session onApril 27-10 and hopefully after I will get a consult appointment....at least something happened...

well it is the end of Feb. and still no consult appointment and I'm feeling a little blue....waiting sucks...it feels like I have been waiting forever, 8 months...they said 12 to 14 months so I still have a long wait....I am feeling very frustrated and on days feel like I don't want to do the surgery but then I remember that I want to have a life...

well it's almost the end of Jan. and I haven't heard a thing...I can't get a hold of anyone at Humber to keep track of where I might be...I contacted my Dr. and she has contacted them requesting to give my file to Dr. Star and they have not heard back yet either....so I am getting stressed and eating crap, home made peanut butter cups..yummmm....I have started writing all my foods down and I am shocked at just how bad I do eat...b4 I probably ate the same but when u put it on paper and see it it's bad.....so this week I will start to ween myself from the crap and add in the good.....It's all good, and my time will come soon I hope....Have a great day all

well still nothing...I thought I might have heard something by now after all it has been 6 whole months...I know it could be longer but I am getting grey hair as I wait and I already had enough..lol...been eating to deal with stress from my 15 year old so that's not good but hopefully it will get better now due to xmas break and no fighting to get up and go to school....well I don't want to whine but I would like to wish whomever reads this.
