Liquid diet

The two week liquid diet went by quickly - and even with all the potlucks at work with Christmas on the way - I never wanted to cheat. I can say that I am looking forward to eating solids though, that Turkey smelled awesome! =)

I figure there will always be potlucks, and people bringing in baked goods, and friends who give candy as a present. But now I can control how much I eat, pass on the baked goodies, and if my friends give me candy, I'll just look at them and say, "Really?"

It was kind of funny during the two weeks of liquid. My son (almost 8) kept forgetting that I couldn't eat, and he kept making me popcorn, which he was so disappointed that he had to eat it all himself.  =)

After a Christmas get together with my two closest friends, my husband asked me what we ate. He paused, then said, "Scratch that..."  I told him they had pizza and I had Cream of Wheat. I sure am glad that I like Cream of Wheat - alot!

So, the liquid pre-diet went smoothly.
