the beginning of the rest of my life

 Hello All,
   This is my first posting of many...well hopefully i tend to be busy and get sidetracked. Yesterday April 12,2011 I went to my appointment with my surgeon. I was shocked when he told me i would more than likely be having surgery within the month. I mean WOW that was FAST! I have began this process multiple times(never following through because of military moves) and the last time I began the process of surgery it was nearly a years wait with all the appointments required  for me to be cleared for surgery. So very anxiously I went into my dr's appointment totally prepared to be told i would have to redo all the tests and begin the wait all over again. My appointment went very well, my insurance has already approved my surgery, now just to do my ekg and schelduel pre-op. I am sooo very ready for this change in my life. I have tried so many diets and exercise programs always to be left feeling defeated and fat. UGH!! I look at so many before and after pictures as well as the stories with them and it makes me happy,anxious, scared and nervous. I always think I hope i look that great, how much extra skin will i have and how much will i change? I guess only time will tell.....
