Well I'm 3 days into the puréed stage , and it has been great ! It felt so nice to even eat a saltine cracker ! (Even though 1 is definitely enough for me ). I was starting to struggle with the full fluid stage, so I'm glad it has passed.

Well, it will be 2 weeks tomorrow since surgery! Can't believe how fast that has gone!!! I had my appointment with my family Dr. Yesterday and all was well and have my follow up with the surgeon tomorrow ! I am down 20lbs since the beginning of Optifas

Well after a slow start because of the inflammation I had, I finally can swallow water and not have so much pain in my chest. I was told I could of stayed another night , but chose to go home, after the full fluids we're going down ok. I think today

Friday is quickly approaching and I'm trying to prepare for after surgery. What protein is everyone taking or drinking ? I was just at Costco on the weekend and hesitated on buying the big box of premier protein as I have read that some don't like it ,

Wow ! 9 days done and 5 to go..I can't believe I have made it this far with optifast . It sure hasn't been easy , and for anyone just starting that or about to the chocolate is way better then the vanilla ! Which is surprising as I usually love vanilla

Got a call today to change my Oct surgery date to July 28 !!! Feeling excited and so nervous at the same time ! Any advise or tips for the next 3 weeks would be appreciated..I will be starting opti on Friday !
