It's hard to believe that it's already been a week since surgery. The time has flown by so quickly. Have my one week follow up tomorrow morning. Things are still going great. Taking in 60 grams of protein from shakes and drinking about 8 cups of water

finally got to have a shower today. Felt amazing. Lol

went and did groceries with my hubby and then a trip to Costco with my mom

ni pain meds today. Sleeping fine at night. Been able to get in 60 grams of protein in each day and keeping

Got home about 30 mins ago. Was discharged at 10 am. Surgery went really well. Was in recovery for 4 hours since I have sleep apnea. Got to my room at 4:30 and Hubby, my mom and our boys were just getting there. So happy to see them. Pain is manageable

Good morning everyone. Surgery is tomorrow! Supposed to get a call this afternoon with my arrival time at the hospital. Nerves are starting to kick in. I will try to post as soon as I'm able to.

Anxious to move to the "losers" bench!

I already have thin hair and I am concerned that with the weight loss, I will lose even more hair. Has anyone tried Biotin supplements? What is your opinion on them?

Can't believe in one week's time I will be recovering or just about to go in for surgery. Getting everything organized for the first week afterwards.

Good morning everyone.

I have completed my first week of Optifast and to be quite honest it hasn't been all that bad. Can't stand the taste of the vanilla on it's own but adding decaf coffee or sugar free flavors have helped.

Just got off of the phone with the co-ordinator at the Ottawa Hospital. Surgery is booked for Wednesday April 12th! Going to start optifast this Wednesday

I met with the surgeon today. She was very nice and answered all of my questions. Picked up my three week supply of Opti Fast and now I patiently wait for the call to let me know my surgery date!

Had my pre op surgery 2 class this past Tuesday and I meet with the surgeon next Thursday.  How long until you get your surgery date?
