Hi everyone! I'm 25 and currently in the process of getting wls. I have been overweight as far back as I can remember. In junior high I was the chucky girl with the pretty face. In high school I was a thick knockout ;) (if I do say so myself) After that I got a job, then a husband then pregnant ( I think you know where this is going) I started gaining like crazy. I found out I had gestational diabetes. Eating like a toddler I managed to gain 65 pounds. After having my baby I stayed on the same diet and lost a little weight. Then out of no where I knew it was time to take another test, BAM pregnant again! this time I gained 75 pounds. Both pregnancies my babies came out 6 pounds and some change. so all the weight was me. I bought a treadmil and worked out like never before. I still gained! I talked to my doc. about having wls he said no instead he offered many pills for my back pain and a referal for a breast reduction. I rarely took the pills (I had babies to take care of) My doc continued to tell me my referal for my reduction was in the mail. It wasn't ( I wish I could have told him his copay was in the mail) In july of 2008 I had a new doc. He said he would put me on the options list :) Feb. 2009 I went to orientation they said fll out this packet and our class will start in about 6 -8 months. Nov. 2009 Got a phone call when about 2 weeks before I told my husband I'm giving up. Lou said class will start in a week! I had my first class In nov 2009 now its march 2010 I have only a few more classes left and I am so excited! I hope to have the rny in san diego by Dr.Rumsey or Dr.Taller I have heard Doctor rumsey was great but I have not met him. Dr.Taller I did meet and I like him very much. I am out going and talkative so please don't be shy and hit me up!

well its March 2011 now, im 14 pounds away from my goal weight, and just found out im going on 9 wks pregnant! I was using BC, but to my suprise... the test came up positive! I was very worried being 8 1/2 months out but I had my labs done and had an ultra sound and my Doc. said my baby is looking good! well wish and pray for my baby!!!!!
