Hello everyone and thank you for taking your time to read this. My name is Daniel Sassano I am 41 years old and live in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. I am a divorced father of two wonderful boys who are 12(soon to be 13 on the 25th) and 8 years old. I've been overwight for quite sometime. I was never overwieght growing up so this change happneded sometime after high school. I started become active less and eating way to much. I ingoned the fact that I was gaining weight and before I knew it I was close to 300 lbs. So here I am today after my mom passed away in 2007 froman apparent heart attack, and my bother having heart issues as well I've made the decision that I need to make serious adjustments in my life so I can be around for my boys. I have high blood pressure and thank god I don't have any other issues. I have had my itnitial consultation with my Dr. about having bariatiric surgery which I am now in the process of getting approved through my insuravce company. I look forward to sharing my progress and thank you for reading again.
