I Had the Roux N Y surgery done yesterday at The Ottawa Hospital and now home resting! Everything went very well and Dr. Kosalavari and the med team, nursing team and staff were awesome. I was in very good hands and the care they all gave was amazing.

4 days until surgery! Wow ~ the time is getting nearer! I am liking the Optifast and I am drinking lots of water. Anybody at this stage who has had surgery go through any mixed emotions? I am nervous, excited, determined and maybe it's not too late to

Well January 10, 2018 it is! So many emotions right now but I'm sure this is the best thing I can do and thinking positive!! Don't have to start my optifast until December 27 :) Happy Holidays Everyone and see you on the losers bench!

The day is here to meet the surgeon. The process started in February 2017 and I will be meeting Dr. Amy Neville tomorrow. Quite the journey so far! Any Ottawa people get together as a support group still? Any advice on questions for the surgeon? Thanks
