I have been morbidly obese most of my adult life. I have tried every fad diet with very little success. After finding out that my diabetes was causing major problems in my body my doctor brought up weight loss surgery yet again. He said that a lot of diabetics that have surgery have had their diabetes go into remission. That was all he had to say. I found my surgeon and started my insurance pre authorization process and was approved exactly 3 months later. I’m having GBP in three weeks and I can’t wait to share my journey with others who have had surgery or are thinking about it.
