Hi everyone,

I am new here (as you can see above). I am looking for experiences anyone feels comfortable sharing with a VSG revision to GB. I have had severe GERD since 2011. It has progressively gotten worse. I have been approved to have a revision to GB 12/21/18. I am hoping it will eliminate the heartburn and GERD but scared it won't. I take so many pills for heartburn. Several PPI's daily. I hope to get off of them but I don't know what will happen. Not looking g forward to starting over and worried how this will affect my eating and drinking habits. I like to have an occasional beer with my friends and terrified I won't be able to anymore. I just want to be as "normal" as possible.  Any shared experiences or thoughts are welcomed.
