"I met with Dr. Dakin on October 6th, 2005. He is a very nice and informative man. His office staff is friendly and helpful they answered a lot of my questions before I came into the office for my first visit. I knew going into his office which surgery I wanted, Adjustable Lap Band, so we discussed why I made this choice and the risks and benefits involved. Dr. Dakin gave me a chance to express my feelings; I felt at ease the whole time. Aftercare, diet, and exercise is very important with the Lap Band surgery. There are some risks of slippage but if the diet is followed it is less likely.
Overall, I think Dr. Dakin and his staff have been extremely helpful in providing me the information and people to make a life altering decision. I look forward to getting my date!
