MY-JOURNEY
Hello everyone!
I am a new to OH. I browsed this website for a couple of months before I had my surgery and found it very useful in deciding which surgery would be best for me as well as reading comments on all of the different physicians I had to choose from.
I chose Dr. Alvarez and I had my gastric sleeve surgery on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009. I have done really well considering this is only Thurs., Jan. 22, 2009 and I have lost 11 lbs. already. I was really nervous about having weight-loss surgery, but I have to admit it was a breeze and I definitely have no regrets. My entire trip starting with my flight, the hotel accommodations and my hospital stay completely exceeded my expectations.
I have to admit that I have felt a little bit of hunger pains since I am still on my clear liquids right now. I am able to deal with that a little better each day. I probably feel that way since I was use to eating something every time I felt a little bit hungry. I am certainly not going to cave in and start eating the things I am not suppose to eat.
Well I am on my way to a thinner me...... Wish me luck!!!
