I have always suffered with my weight.  I am a 36 year old, mother to a 15 and 10 year olds.  I love my kids enough to change my life.  It's very hard to keep up with my boys.  I was diagnosed with diabetes in Aug of 2014.  That is when I woke up.  I quit smoking in Oct 2014.  I started to do a no sugar, no or low salt (due to constant edema to my legs that would bring on cellulitis) and a low carb diet.  It was very difficult and is still very difficult doing it on my own.  My family tries to support me, but forgets once and a while that I cannot have certain foods.  And I love cooking, baking and eating all that I made.

I have a lot of health issues that are getting worse for me.  If I stay at this weight, it may be my downfall.  The most I have weighted was 365.  Talking to most of my Drs, they are all in agreement with one another for me to do a bariatric surgery of some sort.  So in Sept of 2015, I decided to seek help at Dr. Anoosh and Dr. Sapala's office.  I even spoke to another patient of Dr Anoosh's in my Pediotrist office.  He convinced me it was well worth it and if he was to do it all over again, he would have done it earlier then he did.

I started my diet on September 19th 2015.  I need to lose 50 pounds before my surgery and I am down 16 pounds so far.  May my journey continue......
