The decision to perform this procedure was one I was reluctant to do. I've been contemplating it for probably a decade. Looking back I was foolish to have waited. I wasted a decade of health and happiness. That's my only regret now is that I didn't do it sooner. It has given me freedom (in my own body). Weight packs on slowly over years and years. You don't realize you've become trapped, basically a prisoner in your own body. It raises incredible health risks and the physiological effects can be more disruptive than the physical health effects. Why we as a society wait so long to solve this problem is beyond me.
Dr. Frantzites and he staff were wonderful throughout the entire process. I've never had a dr personally call me several times at home after any procedure to see how I was doing. They ooze confidence and that is reassuring to a patient.
