Benjamin Tanner

"He was very polite & friendly. My impression of Dr. Tanner hasn't changed after surgery. His office staff is rude & doesn't treat the patients much like people with feelings at all.I arrived at my appt. a bit early the receptionist refused to accknowledge me. When I said excuse me she said she'll get to me in a bit she was taking LUNCH! I was the only one in the office. She closed her window, put a be back later sign up & left me sitting until she was finished. The insurance lady was nearly impossible to reach, & not exactly happy when Idid talk to her. Over all it is worth the fuss at the office because DR. Tanner is a good surgeon. Aftercare is kinda lonely honestly. I am sure it's like that everywhere. You can call a dietition or therapist. Risks of surgery were explained well. I would rate Dr. Tanner A good surgeon to go to. I was schedualled quickly & haven't had any problems with my incisions. I would have to say both surgical competence & bedside manner are VERY important. You want a surgeon with experiance that can take the best possible care of your body. You also want to feel confidant and comfortable which only your surgeon can provide. This is my point of view, My personal experiance, it does not mean anyone person that goes to Dr. Tanners office for any reason will have the same encounters. Thank you "
