"I remember when I started researching weight loss surgery, very apprehensive about the procedure in general but also who did I want to go to. I had many friends that had went to Dr. Alvarez and had great success stories, and they couldn’t sing his praises enough. I made the decision to travel from Arkansas to Dr. Alvarez. I had my surgery on 6/28/2021 and have not regretted it once! Dr. Alvarez is amazing, his staff are truly the best! My starting weight was 219lb, and I’m close to my 1 year anniversary weighing 145lb! That’s a loss of 74lbs! I have loved every minute! Not only has the weight fallen off, but I have learned so much about food in general. I look at it all differently now. This truly is the best tool, the best decision, and the best surgeon!
