Hello everyone,  I am so sorry I have not been on here but I have had so much going on!!!  It has been 2 years since my lapband and I feel AWESOME!!!  I feel like I did in Highschool.  Come to think about it I look like I did in Highschool!!!  I am really loving life right now!!!  My son tells me "Mom you are HOTT!!!"  He is so happy for me and can give me a real hug now!!!  I also have a new man in my life and he is the best!!!  He love my son and I so much!!!  He even loves my cat!!!  LOL well i will try to get on here and chat with you all more often!!  gotta run!!!

Well I am finally where I think i want to be.  I now weight 124 ponds and loving  every minute of it.  I know if I hear one more person say I have lost too much, I think I will scream!!!  When i was 241 pounds people were saying i needed to drop a  few pounds.  Now that I have they still want to make comments.  I love the weight I am and that is what matters the most!!! 

Hello everyone, again sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.  After that last post I had gotten really sick.  I ended up having major surgery.  So i have been laid up since Feb. 22.  Plus If you didn't already know I am a very BIG UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE FAN!!!  We almost made it to the final 4 in men's and women's basketball.  Both teams lost to the Tar Heels!!  Other then that, I am now down to 152lbs. from 241lbs.  I only have 12lbs. more to go.  My Dr.  said not to get to upset if I don't make it to my goal because most people don't.  I had to remind him that I have not been able to exercise or anything for the past 6 months or so.  But when I go back to work I will be able to go to the gym as much as I want!!!  So If anything I would like to tone.  I may gain a few but that is a good gain!!! I will post some more pics after that.  I am in a size 8 jean from a size 22-24.  SO YOU KNOW I FEEL GGGRRREEEAAATTT!!!  As Tony the Tiger would say!!!

     Sorry for taking so long to get my new pics up.  I have been working and taking care of my son so I haven't really had time to take any.  Here i am.  I have lost 80lbs.  I have about 30lbs. to go.  I am so happy to share my pics with you guys and thanks for all of your well wishes and kind words.  
 

I am doing fine.  I have lost 60lbs.  So far and hoping to drop 40 more.  I will post some new pics very soon!!! I must say that this is the best thing I have ever done and it was well worth it!!!  I feel AWESOME!!!

I am so sorry that I haven't posted any news about my progress.  I have been really busy.  Right now I haven't lost much weight.  I am kind of at a stand still.  I go for my first fill on 3-29-07, and i can't wait.  I am eating ok.    Sometimes i still feel hungry.  At other times i can tell when I am full.  I have had a few times that I had to let somethings back up ( if you know what I mean).  Other then that 3-29-07 can't get here fast enough!!!

Well it was nothing like I thouhgt it was going to be.  It was a piece of cake.  I am not really in too much pain or anything.  As soon as I got to my room I got up and went to the bathroom.  My nurse was like do you want a bed pan?? I told her no I want to walk.  So I walked and I felt Fine.  No major probs at all.  My BP was up a little, but we got it down and then they let me go.  I even went to Kroger and walked around with my mom, with no problems.  I feel great.  I was 241lbs. pre-Op I will keep everyone updated with my progress.  Thank you again for all of your support. 

I am soooo hungry!! Lol, now I am drinking that Magnesium Citrate, yum.  I can't wait until it gets here so I can get it over with. I am excited though.   I just want to get the worst part over with (the IV)!!! I hate needles, yes I know it is stupid for me to have the lap band when they have to do our fills with a needle but it was the best choice for me.  I just have to make sure I don't look!  well I guess I will post another update after I get home.  I have to stay one night at the hosp.  and then I am going to my mom's.  I will post something when I get there.  Thanks again everyone for your words of support I really need it.

Well I started my clear liquid diet today.  It's not that bad. I kind of want to lay around all day so I don't think about eating. I can't believe I have to do this for two days.  Then tomorrow I have to drink that stuff to clean out my system.  Thank God for jello!!!  I will be glad to get it over with.  I went a got some soup, Jello, and pudding.  My son was like is that for me and then I grabbed the sugar free and he was like "I guess Not"  LOL so I had to get him regular.  It was really cute.  (i guess you had to be there)  I still need an angel!!

I went to the Pulmonary Doc today.  He said everything was ok.  So now all I have to do is wait for my date to get here.  11 more days!!! I am so happy it is almost here!!  I STILL NEED AN ANGEL!!!
