Well, it's been 7 weeks since my surgery. First of all, everything went fine in surgery and I was out of the hospital the next day. Recovery was great and eating liguids wasn't too bad but I was very happy to move on to the next phase :) I am now eating solid foods and I haven't had any complications, thank God. So far I have lost about 32 lbs. I am currently at 167 and I have been for about 2 weeks....I think I'm stuck there. I am exercising a little bit more now so hopefully it wil lstart coming off again. The first week of my surgery my blood surgar was normal and my doctor took me off all my diabetic meds :) At my last doctor's appointment, last week, he took me off my high cholesterol meds and high blood pressure meds. I am so happy that my health is coming back to normal. I will try to post more.
