"I have been on MediFast for 3mo, trying to lose pre-op weight. I cannot seem to be 100% compliant, but have lost 23lbs in 12 weeks. Presumably, better compliance would yield better weight loss. Some of the products are terrible.I rely mostly on chocolate shakes, chicken noodle soup,both of which are very good, and some occasional variety. I stared with a variety starter pack, which let me taste a number of things,and decide what I could tolerate.I don't feel especially hungry, but still struggle with emotional eating. There is a nurse at MediFast who actually calls you back if you put a question on the internet site.This is very helpful. Am not yet post-op, so can't comment on that at this time"
