"What a nice man. He wasn't my first choice, but that was only because there was a good surgeon near by. That fell through because of scheduling. Dr. Buchwald helped me feel more secure. He didn't make me feel like I was ugly or just a fat person. He made me feel like I deserved to be happy again.
His staff is very helpful and quick. Staff was very informative about surgical problems that may arrise and the risks afterwards were all addressed.
I would recommend that you ask him to spend more time with you post-op if you have questions. There are many great residents and students, but not the same as the real thing.
I have been back for my follow-up (April 00). I recieved a good bill of health and was told to come back at the end of the year.
I would rate Dr. Buchwald and his staff a 10!
