Dear Shelly~~~~I am so happy for you that you are home now. It's always so much better at home. Rest frequently and try not to overdo. May God continue to hold you in the palm of His hand. Be well. Lorraine

Angel coming in for a landing...Look out below!!! I spoke with Shelly today and she is doing much better. She is still in alot of pain but the medicine takes the edge off for her. Yesterday she had quite a scare somehow she reacted strangely to her pain meds and couldn't be awakened. She really gave the nurses and her family a scare!! But she is alright and her meds have been changed. She is hoping to be able to go home tomorrow and will let me know in the morning. You're doing great Shelly you really are a loser now!!!! Love ya, Vicki

Serogate Angel Flying in for a Landing!!! I visited Shelly today and she is doing great!! She is having quite abit of pain and is still groggy from the pain meds. She passed her leak test so they removed the NG tube so I'm sure that will make things alot more comfortable. I also spoke with her surgeon(my surgeon too) and he said that the surgery went great!! I'm sure that she will feel tons better tomorrow! I will update more when I talk with Shelly tomorrow! Shelly, you go girl you're doing great!! Love ya, Vicki

Dear Shelly~I am so glad that your surgery was uneventful; I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Get out of bed as soon as you can and stay up for as long as you can. May those frequent, tiny sips of water be the most delectable liquid you have ever tasted. May God continue to hold you in the palm of His hand. Be well and home soon. Lorraine

Shelly came through surgery with flying colors! She is a bit uncomforable but that is to be expected. I spoke with her mom and Shelly has a slight temp. so they are really pushing her to use the breating machine. So please everyone sign her card I will be printing it out to take to her tomorrow afternoon. Lets all show her our support. You made it Shelly, now you're on the losing side!! Get better fast. You're a super gal!! Vicki Vicki
