Vickie I was so sorry to hear about Charlotte. I am praying for you as well. Did her doctor not test for the embolism after she started having problems? I am having lap rny on July 30th so I am cautious when I hear of something like this. Take care!~~Angie Howard in SC.

Somewhat TARDY angel checking in with a progress report on Vicki. Vicki had her Lap RNY yesterday morning. I just spoke with her, she is in Critical Care only because there were no beds out on the floor. All in all, she is feeling well. She has a tremendous headache from the anasthesia and pain meds. She has not been up to walk yet, but the doctor promised her tonight. I'm not sure at this point that she would "do it again" but I'm sure she will feel well enough to say that soon. I wish her only the best.

Vicki~~Here's to a quick happy recovery. Remember to walk, walk, walk, drink, drink, drink and cough, cough, cough. Use the incentive spirometer not matter how much you hate it.
