My wife had her surgery this morning, and is now 12 hours post-op. It went very well. She now has a 3.5 oz stomach pouch, and a vastly reduced intestine. She was in pain, of course, and groggy from the medication, when I left the hospital, but in good spirits. I can't believe she's been 'switched'! Tomorrow is the first day of her new life.
