~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

7/28/03 I Made it!!!!! I had my lap RNY done on July 23rd. I came home on Sat.July 26th. I have had very little pain. The worst pain was when they removed my JP drain. I screamed. The resident said "Boy thats unusual to feel pain like that when the drain is removed." It felt like it was coming from my toes. Overall I can't complain. I had a hard time getting in my water the first few days home. SF Jello, Broth and the protein drink goes down smoothly. But water tends to cramp me just a bit. Today I got in a 16oz water by noon. My abdomen feels like it is 9 months pregnant. I'm sure its just my imagination. I have been wearing PJ bottoms so not to put any pressure on my belly so I'm not sure if it is bigger. With all the trauma I'm sure it is swollen abit. Well I got to make a shopping list for tommorow. I will keep you all informed of my progress.
