Imtiaz Munshi

"My first impression of Dr. Munshi was of a very freindly person with a lot of smarts,(he had a bunch of charts all around him). He is very kind and considerate to him patients. He is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable right away. He is very knowledgeable in his field of medicine. He can and does answer any all questions you may have. He explains the procdure he is going to be doing and makes sure you understand it as well. HE greets you in the OR with a big smile and a feeling of trust and confidance. He has been extermely concerned about my recovery and how it is going. He makes sure you are made comfortable after the surgery and when you go home. He follows you through all the recovery period and right though the first year after surgery I am told. I still see him on my visits and he talks to me to make sure everything is going as planned. I think his surgical competence and bedside manner are both great without question. He saw me everyday in the hospital(I know he has to) but he would ask how I was feeling and if I was comfortable or not and if there was anything he could do for me? He makes time after surgery in his office to make sure you are feeling happy and he makes you feel better about yourself. He and his office help are very freindly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. They answer any and all questions you may have and if theone you ask doesn't know they will make sure they find out for you.Dr. Munshi's pre-requesits for surgery are very strict and resonable but he expects his patients to help themselves as much as he is trying to help you.His aftercare program is very structured and you are followed closely as needed. He explains the risk of surgery without hesitation and right to the point. My impression of DR.Munshi has only gotten better with getting to know him better. I would and have recommended him for this surgery and as a doctor in his field of medicine as well. I trusted him with my life and would do it again if necessary. "
