Scripps Mercy Hospital (COE)

"The first night was good. I had a very nice lady in the other bed. The second night was horrible. The new patient was a 85 year old woman that belonged on the regular floor but her family felt she was not receiving quality care. So the family had her transferred to the Surgical floor. She moaned all night for a nurse and even told me to get up and get one. She had to be changed several times in the middle of the night the smell was unbeariable. The last night I was there I asked if I could have some benedryl to help me sleep through the night. The nurses were so nice and I didn't remember much that night other than an occasional bad smell. I understand it wasn't the nurses fault it just sucked to be me. I couldn't wait to check out."

Mary Murphy

"My first impression for Dr Mary was wonderful. Both my husband and I were impressed with her attention to detail and letting us know all the risks involved with the surgery. She did emphasize exercise and having a program that is cardiovascular. She said a lot of her patients that yoga is exercise and in her book unless you sweat it's not doing enough. She was kind enough to say I would be a candidate for Lap if wanted to see another doctor but I selected her. Dr. Mary and her staff were very kind and confirmed my decision for selecting her as my surgeon."
