Some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. I was on holiday when you had your surgery and didn't get the opportunity to wish you well prior to your surgery. However, I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Good luck and God Bless!!! RNY 10/31/03 down 78 pounds!!! Deneise Stigen

Linda, Congratulations and best wishes for a smooth and speedy recovery! Don't forget to take a pillow and/or a Bari Buddy (available at the OH.com store) with you to the hospital, you won't be sorry that you did! You need the pillow for all kinds of comforts from coughing to side support and frankly sometimes the hospital pillows just aren't really great. Also, you might inquire with the hospital about whether a fan will be available to you, if not and permitted, you might take one with you. The combination of the narcotics and the leg cuffs they use to prevent clots makes many people very very hot! bright blessings to you in this part of the journey and much success too!~Caroline O.--
