"Dr. Bonness is a very caring, quiet type of women who truly cares about her pts. She did a wonderful job on my tummy tuck and she had to take me back to surgery a few weeks later because I had fluid in my belly on a friday evening at 5:00 and never blinked an eye about the day(friday) or the time 5:00 pm-- all she really cared about was making sure that I was ok-and then she called me at home once I was home from the surgery to make sure everything was going well- This Dr. even has her pager number on her appt cards and on her voicemail so that you can get ahold of her at any time for any thing and she is a great caring M.D.-- this is the plastice surgeon you should go see!!! Office staff is great also!"
"Dr. Eric Schlesinger - if it the same one - did my surgery in bellvadere, Ill in jan of 2001 -- he did a great job the surgery went well- it was an open rny - i was home in 4 days after the surgery- he is very personable- I do recall him sounding somewhat like a recording during the consultation- but i am sure that he did so many of them that he would sound like that-- but he is very nice and did a great job with my RNY. I have lost 275 pounds!-he was with Bariatric treatment centers at that time and the pre op phase and the post op phase was great - lots on information and recipes for each step of the process and they were there if i had even the littlest or dumbest question-- they also have support groups that you can go to for the rest of your life if you choose-- great!!
both his surgical competence and bedside manner were great- and so with co workers ( I saw another doctor one day while in the hospital- must have been his day off) i would rate him 8-10!"
