"Dr. Fobi was very nice. Actually I only saw him once, the nite prior to surgery. Dr. Flayhee (sp) in his office did my workup. He was fabulous. He was very kind and caring. Dr. Lee did my surgery. All 3 were in surgery so I felt like I had the best of care.
I was scared like most people would/should be. There is more to think about than just getting the results(thin). Surgery is a serious decision.
The office staff was very nice. I live a State away from my doctor so I have not been back for a followup. Its almost a year now. I have checked in with my local doctor and if I were to experience any problems, I would definately go in, but for the most part I am healthy and have had no problems. Dr. Fobi's office has called and checked on me several times. I have really appreciated that.
I do not have insurance that would cover such surgery. I am self employed. So cash talks and gets you through.
I didn't have as much to lose as some people
but I was starting to have some health issues and I know they were weight related. I felt like if I lost weight I would also lose most of the problems, which has proven true. I would not let an insurance company stand in my way of good health. Just find a way to pay for it and get it done. It is well worth it.
I would rate Dr. Fobi's team a #1. The level of care is great."
