Julie, I am glad to hear that your surgery went well and I wish you good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the toughest after an open but it will get a little better each day. And it is so worth it! A WLS friend,

This is Jerry Sansom. I am Julie Barnett's brother and I want to let all of her friends know that she is doing well. The surgery was yesterday and she is doing fine. She is at Thomas Hospital in South Charleston RM 207 right now. The doctor said that there appears to be no leaks and she is fine. The surgery lasted about 3-3.5 hrs and that included taking her galbladder out. I will keep you all updated.
