"I have had a first consultation with Dr. Peters and found him most pleasant. Dr. Peters was very personable and was very thorough in his explanation of the risks and benefits of the surgery. He tried to scare me off with the risks, just to be sure I was aware of the seriousness of the surgery. He also gave a true/false test to make sure I understood what he had explained. He briefly explained the aftercare program, but said he would go into greater length at our second appointment. He insists everyone wait at least two weeks before his second meeting with you. Just to make sure you have given the surgery and its affects enough thought. He also said I could call or email him wiht any questions in the meantime. His staff was very friendly. I will write more after the second consultation. So far, I would rate him a 9. (nobody's perfect!)
My surgery is now complete. I have had no problems at all. Dr. Peters did an exceptional surgery on me. I had an open rny and would reccommend Dr. Peters to anyone. There is a support group available for pre-ops and post-ops to share information. It is attended by Dr. Peters as well.
