"I have only seen Dr. Marema once at his Monday night info session. My first impression of him was good. He was well spoken and thorough. The staff in his office that I have met with or spoke with have been great. They are helpful and kind. Dr. Marema really emphasizes aftercare. Attending support group meetings, post op diet and exercise, etc. He really seems to want people to know that this is not a quick fix. That this surgery will mean a huge lifestyle and diet change.
9/26/00 I felt I was being "jerked" around by Cigna and his insurance lady so I emailed Dr. Marema with my concerns and I did get a call from his patient representative. That made me feel a little better. I do believe Dr. Marema is a caring person and again the staff in his office have always been cordial and polite.
11/26/00 Dr. Marema is great. He is very caring and compassionate and I appreciate his dry sense of humor. I go tomorrow for my 2 week check up and I look forward to seeing him."
