"Dr.McConnell is a very quiet soft spoken man. He is also very matter-of-factly. He gets right to the point! I personally have had the opportunity to see him interact with his patients, Post-op in ICU. I am very impressed with his bedside manner and ability. I chose him after speaking to other Nurses whom either had their surgery done by him, or have cared for his patients. In addition to, asking surgical residents that have worked with him in the Operating Room, they've said that, they would also choose him or send a loved one to him. He is that good at what he does and is a big advocate for Bariatric patients! The only draw-back is he is a very busy man and the waiting time can be lengthy! This is a true test of patience! "

"As an employee of the Hospital, I was given "VIP" Status. The ICU unit I went to was very good and received Outstanding Nursing Care. Upon Transfer to the floor the next day I was given the option of being assigned to the "VIP Suite", on a Vascular Surgery Floor, or going to the General Surgery Floor. I chose the "VIP Suite" (It happens to be the floor I work on) The only thing missing was the Tiara! I was truly given the Royal treatment and treated like a Princess! I was even given the oppurtunity to preselect my nurses! The Suite was beautiful! It resembles a 5 Star Hotel Room! I can not say enough about it! Nursing care was top rate! I never had to call and ask for pain medication, I had an Epidural and it was great! no pain! when switched to oral pills It was day 5, the meds were scheduled as well as brought when ever I needed them. The nurses always asked when I thought I would want the next one too! I really did not have to ask for much! My needs were met 110%! I am so blessed. "

"This Doctor was 1st Class! he was totally emapathetic to my situation and was extremely pleasant to deal with! I left his office with nothing but hope and gratitude. The office staff went out of their way to accomadate getting both my sleep studies scheduled in a quick and timely mannor! They were booked three months in advance but, I was able to get in quickly on cancellation! They work hard at taking care of their patients! "
