Hey everyone, thanks for contacting me to check on my dad/Fred. He went in for his open VBG with Dr. Weber at Swedish Ballard this morning at 9 am and is now [1 pm] in his room. My mom just called a few minutes ago and says he is doing really well. I actually spoke to him, he grunted back, it was a good grunt. I am sure he won't remember it in the morning. My mom sounded good and relaxed which also tells me that my dad is doing well. :-)
Dr. Weber was all smiles and said he had a little trouble with exposure (similar issue that I had), but because my dad wasn't as extreme as me and Dr. Weber was prepared for this, it was a non-issue for Dr. Weber.
My dad is at Swedish Ballard in room #417, just 2 doors down from my old room, fortunately, he is on the quiet end of the hall. :-) If you want to call him, his number is 206-781-6428, my mom is there and is ready to stay the night.
Thank you all for your good wishes and kind words. It has meant a great deal to my dad to have your support, you are like a second family. :-)
I will update more later today after I visit him tonight.
