Jessica, your post about your childhood made me sad. I don't know how your step-grandmother could have been so cruel as to not include you in family gatherings. I wish I could take all of your bad memories and make them disappear. I also had a miserable childhood, but at least my brother and sister were treated as equally bad as I was by our stepfather. I am glad that you have a husband who loves you and wonderful daughters. It's your unhappy childhood that makes you a better mom, because you know how bad things can hurt and I am sure that made you determined to be the best mother possible! I see your surgery date is quickly approaching. I pray that you have an easy surgery and a quick recovery. Please take good care of yourself and keep us updated as to your progress.
