“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” William Jennings Bryan. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things that you want to do. The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way! May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you!

9/12/02 I am a 65 year old woman with diabetes, angina, thyroid, arthritis and my cardiologist is the one who suggested i look into this surgery. I admit it is very scary especially after reading the memorials. But at my age why not take the chance to better my life. I have been overweight most of my life except for the few years in high school and until my first child. although i weighed 118 lbs before i got pregnant and came home from the hospital weighing 125. After I had my three sons i started to gain and just kept on until now and I weigh 249 lbs only 5'tall. My first consult with Dr Hoddinott is on Sept 19th that is in just 7 days and I am getting anxious I am also worried about insurance approval as I have Medicare.
