Hi Sue! I am glad you are doing better. I just wanted to say thank you for being so honest in your post earlier. I am scheduled for an open RNY on Dec. 2, and although I am nervous, I know I have made the right decision. I really appreciate your honesty. I feel, that maybe if someone has the same things you went through, they might remember reading your post and it might help them cope a little more calmly. I know it would me. So if anything, your honesty gave me a little tidbit of information to tuck away for future reference in case it's needed. Again thank you for not sugar-coating the recovery process. Best wishes for a healthy and pain-free recovery, and on your new SKINNY life.:)

I just spoke with Sue. She is doing fine except for some muscle spasms. Other than sounding a little groggy, she sounds good. Since I am waiting for a surgery date, I asked her if these first days are just like everybody said. Her reply..."yes, and then some!".
