~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

Michelle, Hang in there. I'm sure you've heard that the first few weeks (really, the first 4 weeks are rough). I had a hard time with protien drinks, still haven't found one that doesn't make me want to puke. What helped me through the first two weeks was Healthy Request Chicken Noodle soup. I was able to sip the broth and mush the noodles into nothing. It was hard at first to even drink water....it would hurt going down (even the smallest sip). Take it slow, don't worry about protien right now, just try to get in enough water and most important...SLEEP as much as you want to...it's your body's way of dealing with the MAJOR change. Take care! ~J

Dear Michele...do not beat yourself up about the "drumstick" incident...you did the right thing as far as being honest with the doctor. May 6th is really close! You were very lucky to be scheduled again so soon. I'm sure you'll come through this great, and your recovery will be swift and complete. Love and hugs, Joy

Michele... I read your post about your husband's family & their lack of support & felt a kindred tug! My husband's mother has actually SAID to my husband, "Tell her NOT to do it!" Of course, I'm doing it... mine is in June... but hang in there!! Ultimately God is the one who gives to us what others can't... and His support is the best there is!! God bless you!! :-)

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
