Dale ~ Each day brings with it the miracle of a new beginning. Many of the moments ahead will be marvelously disguised as ordinary days, but each one of us has the chance to make something extraordinary out of them. ~ D. Pagels ~ Best Wishes for a speedy recovery!

Hey Dale! Good luck on your surgery, and don't worry too much about making big changes before. Of course any weight you lose before surgery will be wonderful, but after surgery things are so different - I haven't missed the carbonation at all. MANY things will taste different; part of the fun is finding all the new stuff going on with your taste buds. Eggs, rice, and I no longer get along, but that's all. My BEST friend is Propel water. It is just sweet enough to make me happy, but that's me. You have a lot to look forward to - the waiting is the hardest!

Hi Dale, I know that you are going to do fine. I am so excited for you and your family. You will not believe how much better your quality of life will after surgery. The first month is the roughest but after that it's not that bad at all! Good idea about the carbination. I quit pop and caffeine before my surgery and I was glad I did. Others who did not had the caffeine withdrawals to worry about. Dr. Bolar is a great doctor and you are in good hands. May God bless you as you begin your journey. Keep us updated!
