10 days post opt and down 18 pounds!!!!!!! It's so great that I'v lost some weight but even better that I am feeling so good. Went for my first check up yesterday and everything went well. love to all Susan

OMG I made it!!!!!! nothing terrible happend I am feeling pretty good. Had surgery on 2/14/01 last wednesday got home yesterday. I'm feeling sore but not to bad thanks for all your encouraging words will post again soon. Susan

02/17/01 Hell-o Susan,Joyce allison here we have been thru it,now we have the same new birthdays.I hope your surgery went well,mine did also.I came home on 02/16/01 I couldnt believe it when the dr.told me on thursday,that i may get to go home on friday,but he was right.Here I am!!!!!!!Good Luck and GOD BLESS,your friend Joyce Allison

Dear Susan ----Please don't be afraid ! God has Blessed you with this wonderful opportunity to change your life to a happy and healthy one. No more fears of Chairs too small, Clothes too tight, peoples looks. An opportunity to be the person you really are inside. I will make a special prayer tonight to our heavenly Father to ease your concerns and to give you a Peace that only he can give. Trust in him...he has brought you this far...he will not fail you now. We all have had those feelings, I have such a Peace about this surgery. I am so excited at the concept that I could be a size 16 it isn't even funny and the prognosis is I will probably be at least a 12. OH MY Goodness. The last time I was a 12 I was in High School and I am 53 yrs old now. Think about all the great things that you are going to be able to do with this burden gone! My surgery is on Monday 2/5/01 I am so excited. I already know that God is going to take me in his loving, caring arms and carry me to the other side. What a Blessing for us all. He will do the same for you as well. We are all praying for you here at WLS.
