"Dr. Brewer was absolutely fabulous. He is retired now, and I am so disappointed that I am unable to recommend him to others as he is no longer performing surgeries. He does, however, still continue to see his existing patients. He had performed over 1,400 RNYs when he operated on me on Feb. 8, 1999. He prefers the distal RNY because after monitoring the progress so many of his patients the results have proven to him that it has the best chance of long-term success. He strongly believes in exercise, proper nutrition and continuing to be under the care of a physician post-op. His bedside manner is impeccable and he is extremely competent."
