"My consultation with Dr. Timothy Christopher was on 4-18-03. My first impression was that this good looking man is younger than I am. At first I was frustrated because his assistant pulled my out of the room because of my low BMI and said because of that the doctor would want to talk with me before going through the procedure with me. Dr. Christopher came in and we discussed all of my medical problems as well as family history. He really was a sweet heart. After finding out about my comorbites he told me that he certainly would submit everything to my insurance carriers, I am covered under 2 plans of BC/BS of Alabama. He said he would get it submitted and then we should hear from them with the next 2 to 4 weeks. I hope that it is closer to 2 because I want this procedure so badly. They then went through the procedure but since I have been studying this procedure for quiet some time now, it was very little information needed to be given to me. I believe he is a great surgeon and I believe he out done himself to make me feel comfortable and to assure me he would do what he could to get me approved. I have put my faith in God that I will be approved."
